In a statement from the CEO of the NCCAOM, Mina Larson stated that there are new developments in the effort to improve cross boarder certifications and accreditations for the Acupuncture and TCM Profession. Mrs. Larson stated.
“NCCAOM is pleased to be working with IACM, IATCM and ETCMA on developing a new pathway for qualified Israeli acupuncturists from Israel to achieve NCCAOM certification. The NCCAOM is grateful for its partnership with the ETCMA on exploring ways to expand NCCAOM Board Certification globally to help promote and advance through practice of acupuncture and herbal medicine.”
ETCMA President Dr. Yair Maimon supported the effort and stated “Our profession must become global in order for us to adapt and thrive in the new environment, We must create mechanisms and pathways for cross boarder certifications, establish global educational standards and create pathways for our professionals to practice anywhere in the world.”
